What started two years ago with 500 visitors and 30 speakers has now grown into one of the largest tech conferences in Europe. The Dublin Web Summit is organized from the city that is also known as the Silicon Valley of Europe. The favorable tax climate in Ireland ensures that large companies such as Google, Facebook and LinkedIn have established their European headquarters in Dublin. Despite the economic crisis in Europe, and in Ireland in particular, Dublin is still the perfect backdrop for a conference where startups and established names come together.
