What is the CCPA?
The CCPA is a privacy law that was passed on June 28, 2018. A version of this law was initially introduced as an initiative for the November 2017 state ballot by a real estate developer. The developer offered the California legislature a deal where he would withdraw his ballot (which was pretty tough on business) if a similar privacy law was passed.
