I've been in the blogging world for over 8 years now and I just wanted to create the first one in Spanish. Until then I had only been active in the German market and I liked the idea of a change of pace.
Money is not the main motivation for having a blog that is read
It's a cliché, but it's true. The most important thing is not to job function email list have a goal, but to reach the goal. If you don't enjoy what you're doing, you won't get anywhere. Economic reasons can be an initial driving force, but since the results don't come immediately, you'll quickly run out of gas.
That is why, according to studies, only 2% of bloggers start their blog with the main objective of generating income from it. The vast majority start because they feel they have to share something with the world. Passion is the most powerful source of energy that helps us move forward.
Don't overwhelm yourself with overly ambitious goals
I have no idea if my case is typical or not. Initially I didn't set a specific goal. When I realized that I could quickly reach 1,000 visits a day, I set myself the goal of surpassing that figure. I achieved it and wanted to reach 2,000. Now I have more than 5,000 page views and I would like to end this year with 10,000. Although you don't have to obsess about visits but focus on attracting readers, I admit that it is motivating when the numbers are increasing.
