How Sales Can Easily Add to Pardot Lists From Salesforce

By now, we should all have integrated our Salesforce and Pardot accounts, because let’s face it, why wouldn’t we want a streamlined platform for both the marketing and sales teams? By syncing the two orgs together, we find ourselves with an array of possibilities, with the ability to view our customer’s sales journey from first touch to won opportunity.

The ‘Add to Pardot List’ button
You may be aware of the ‘List membership’ Visualforce section on the record page layout in Salesforce. One of MarCloud’s favourite simple yet underappreciated features within this is the ‘Add to Pardot List’ button.

Just as the name indicates, this button allows us to add a lead or contact in Salesforce to a list in Pardot with the click of a single button.

You can find the ‘Add to Pardot list’ button in Salesforce by heading to the record you’d like to add in Salesforce and hitting the dropdown menu if you are adding records one by one. Alternatively, if you want to add multiple records at once, you can do so through the Salesforce List View.

After clicking, you’ll be shown a pop-up allowing you to choose from the Pardot lists available. Records can be added to up to five lists.
