People like to compare themselves. Events that have been around for over 100 years, such as the Olympic Games, show that the popularity of competition is not something that ever goes out of fashion. Those at the top of their discipline enjoy the admiration or envy of those who do not make it as far.

The Internet has long since discovered the human need for competition. The same concept is now being applied to gamification . In reality, what is new is not so much applying the way games work to marketing. The innovation has been to give it a name, since competitions already existed before video games.
Why publishing a ranking is a good idea for your blog
I have already published several posts on this blog with jordan mobile number the “top blogs of…”. As you can see on the right side, some of them are among the most read posts on this blog. It is as simple as I am saying. Publishing a ranking is almost a sure success for your entry.
1. It gives you relevance even if you don't have it : many people think that only the most "experts" can publish a ranking. This is nonsense because anyone is capable of doing a quick investigation of who the relevant people, blogs, companies, etc. are in their sector. Since you publish the article, you don't appear in the ranking (it wouldn't look too good). Even so, you gain prestige since you are the source of the content.
2. The people on the list help you spread the word : Humans need positive feedback from time to time. We like it when someone tells us we've done something well. If we're mentioned, we want lots of people to find out about it. So we'll spread content that provides positive information about us. Don't feel bad about being proud of yourself if you see your name on a list. Recognition is the result of hard work. If you deserve it, you deserve it. Seeing yourself on a list doesn't guarantee success, so don't allow yourself to relax too much afterwards.
