Orange ring
If you place the pre-recorded LinkedIn Cover Story in your profile picture, an orange ring will appear around your picture and the video will automatically play in your photo frame (this ring is now blue, ed.). If you click on that, the video will appear with your personalized message.
Choose who you want to be
As a second part of Creator Mode, it is possible to choose pronouns by gender and forms of address much more broadly. This means that you no longer have to choose between the options 'man' or 'woman'. With this, LinkedIn promotes more inclusivity. The most important reason: for 70% of job seekers and 72% of recruiters it appears to be important to address a person with the correct pronoun and in this way respectfully.

Online networking is growing and intensifying by the day. Especially in a time when 60% of LinkedIn members are working remotely due to the pandemic. With 5 billion extra connections in the past year and 50% more conversations on LinkedIn, online networking is more important than ever. It is nice if you can quickly and easily find your own specific industry.
The new Creator Mode in your profile dashboard has new options for this. For example, you job function email database can now insert hashtags into your profile for topics you post about a lot. This feature will move your Featured and Activity sections to the top of your profile to display your content more prominently. You can also change the Connect button to Follow to help you engage your community and build a following.
Innovating with audio
In addition to video and LinkedIn Cover Story, Creator Mode is also supplemented with audio applications, such as features that we already know from Clubhouse . In these audio rooms you can really talk to your professional network and LinkedIn offers its members an increasingly complete way of online networking. This makes this platform the ultimate 'one stop shopping' place for professional networking in this day and age.

Now that the first tests are behind us, the creator mode features are being made available globally starting this week and will be rolled out in stages. Do you have a LinkedIn profile? Then you will automatically have access to these new possibilities.
