What problems can each of these services solve in relation to telephony?
Svyatoslav Vasiliev , Senior Manager for Integration Products at UIS, wrote a column for our blog about trends in the development of open API and about constructors that allow integrating a bosnia and herzegovina phone numbers virtual PBX with other services based on it. And also about the simplest business tasks that can be solved in this way. What is remarkable is that you don’t have to be a programmer to do this.
Recently, we have been observing a large-scale trend of open API development, when services allow creating solutions to problems on their basis that for one reason or another are not included in the functionality of the services themselves. IT giants like Microsoft, IBM or Cisco are starting to rock this trend. For such companies that rely on cloud platforms, such a trend is a gold mine: somewhere, applications that integrate different services with an open API must be stored.
UIS is one of the services that supports the open API trend - we are actively working on developing our API infrastructure for IP telephony and other integration tools (note: if you are interested, you can take a closer look at our interactive call processing or study other possibilities for integrating UIS virtual PBX with CRM systems).
The scale of the open API trend is also indicated by the fact that Gartner, in its square, has begun to pay attention to API Management platforms. That is, we can safely say that we are witnessing the formation of a new market - a market of simple applications that integrate various services with each other or create new products based on the API of existing services. But is it necessary to be a programmer to create such applications? Not at all. This is what I would like to talk about - about what services allow you to create an application yourself without deep programming skills.
I will tell you about the examples of telephony integration cases, since we are here in UIS - the story is about Virtual PBX. At the moment, there are many constructor services that allow you to integrate services that provide an open API. I will talk about three of the most interesting ones - IFTTT, Zapier and Microsoft Flow .
Increase sales with the UIS communications platform
A reliable cloud telephony operator: our own number capacity and the #1 technical support on the market.

IFTTT
IFTTT is simple to use and easy to use. You set up an event and a reaction to it. For example, a lost call is an event, creating a task in Trello is a reaction.
And that's it: a few clicks — and the lost calls are entered into your task manager. IFTTT has over 300 services that can be integrated with. Although UIS is not among them, you can independently create a link with our notifications, for example, using the Maker connector.
