This is how Twitter Spaces works, the alternative that seeks to dethrone Clubhouse
This is not the first time that Twitter has tried to integrate monetization solutions into its platform: in January 2021, we learned that Twitter bought Review , a tool for creating and sending free and paid newsletters.

In May, Twitter Blue was launched, a paid service that adds features and services to users of the social network, available only to those who want to pay a monthly fee. This kind of Twitter extension costs approximately 2.45 euros per month, and its objective is to offer its subscribers additional functions that improve the experience on the microblogging social network, for example:

Twitter's attempts to offer monetization spaces... and attract more users
Twitter plans to hit 315 million monetizable daily active users (mDAU) over the next three years — adding about 109 million more mDAU than it currently has, which would be a 188% growth. That’s a new zealand business email database very ambitious number, especially considering that Twitter has only added 83 million mDAU over the past three years. mDAU is Twitter’s own metric, implemented by Jack Dorsey’s team in 2018, and which, in its own words, “includes Twitter users who log in and access Twitter on any given day through Twitter.com or apps that can display ads.”

Now, by offering a new incentive for its creators to post more content and interact with larger audiences more frequently, Twitter hopes to attract a larger number of users, potentially breathing new life into the social network that has seen a series of ups and downs in recent years.

However, its monetization options are still uncertain, especially since for users to pay for a chat room it will have to include some big-name star, as it will be very difficult for regular users of the platform to pay to listen to any influencer every week.

While Twitter's monetization offerings don't benefit the majority of its users, if the social network can get big influencers to push their paid content on the platform, it will be able to grow its global user base and thereby improve its bottom line.
