TOYesterday, TikTok brought together leading experts in the Spanish creative field at the Club de Creativos (CdC) headquarters in Madrid to announce the 2024 TikTok Ad Awards . This contest, responsible for recognizing the most creative and innovative campaigns on the platform, opened its registration period on June 10 and will remain open until September 25 . The third edition of the TikTok Ad Awards introduces the new “Greatest Branding” category and expands its reach to the Netherlands.
Teba Lorenzo , General Manager of TikTok GBS for Spain and Portugal, presented the event, which was attended by key figures from the advertising sector such as: Roberto Fara , President of the Jury of ukraine number data the TikTok Ad Awards 2024 and Chief Creative Officer of Ogilvy Spain; Gonzalo Figari , President of the CdC and Founder of Candy Store; and Jacobo Prieto , Executive Creative Director at Está Pasando and winner of the Greatest TikTok award in 2023.
TikTok Ad Awards 2024 Updates and Expansion
This year's edition brings with it some important new features, including the addition of a new category, "Greatest Branding" , dedicated to rewarding campaigns that stand out for their innovative strategy and creative approach adapted to the platform. The other categories are: Greatest Performance, Greatest Creative and Greatest Small Business , in addition to the Greatest TikTok award , to which all submitted applications are automatically eligible.
In addition, the awards are expanding to a new market: the Netherlands . This addition joins the following participating markets: the United Kingdom, DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland), France, Italy, Spain, Central Europe (Romania, Czech Republic and Poland), the Nordic countries (Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland) and Israel.
