Although the business and personal coaching movement emerged between the 70s and 80s, the general public still has certain misconceptions about what it consists of. Those who do not have direct experience with it know that its objective is to promote motivation and personal development and the spirit of improvement. Therefore, from ignorance, this discipline is often associated with inspirational phrases and speeches such as “stop making excuses” or “dare to fulfill your dreams.”
