Nofal Holdings (755%) and Ortasano Investments (25%). Earlier, the Armenian publication Civinet named a number of potential buyers for the purchase of MTS-Armenia. One of them is the brokerage company 1xbet, owned by Roman Semenikhin, Dmitry Kazorin and Sergey Karshkov. Earlier, they acquired the Armenian Aibusinessbank through the Swiss FM Global.
Another potential contender was a union between Gazprom and the Armenian telecommunications company Team, owned by Hayk and Alexander Yesayan. The Yesan brothers worked for the Armenian telecommunications uk whatsapp number list operator Ucom for a long time. In 2020, they left Ucom and founded a new company, Team, which acquired the telecommunications operator Veon Armenia (a subsidiary of the Veon group, which until recently included the Russian VimpelCom). The third potential contender was the American Golden State Bank, created by people from Armenia.
History and performance indicators of MTS-Armenia
MTS came to Armenia in 2007, acquiring the leader of the local cellular market, K-Telecom, which operated under the Vivacell trademark. The sellers were Lebanese brothers Pierre Fattouche and Moussa Fattouche. Later, K-Telecom was renamed MTS-Armenia and switched to operating under the Vival-MTS trademark. The Fattouche brothers retained 20% of K-Telecom shares. This stake was transferred to MTS in 2019 in exchange for writing off the Fattouche brothers' loan in the amount of $99.1 million.
According to the results of 2022, MTS-Armenia earned RUB 7.94 billion, OIBDA (earnings before taxes, interest on loans and depreciation and amortization expenses) amounted to RUB 4.27 billion, OIBDA profitability amounted to 53.8%, net profit - RUB 804 million. The company serves 2.27 million subscribers and is the leader in the country's cellular market.

When Russians leave the Armenian telecom market
The Armenian telecommunications market was once under the influence of Russian companies. In addition to MTS, VimpelCom (trademark Beeline) has been operating in Armenia since 2006: it acquired the country's largest fixed-line operator and the second largest (after K-Telecom) mobile operator, Armentel. The company began operating under the Beeline brand. Later, the international Veon group was created on the basis of VimpelCom, and Armentel was renamed Veon Armenia. In 2020, as already mentioned, Veon sold Veon Armenia to Team, a company created by people from Ucom.
Formally, Fedilco Group belongs to two other offshore companies:
