The Witcher III: Wild Hunt
Required language level: upper-intermediate
Helps improve: auditory perception, learning slang, idioms, vocabulary
In our subjective opinion, one of the best computer games of all time and people. And it is also a real diamond in terms of language learning. The writers have so carefully approached the creation and development of the game world and characters that almost each of them has its own language features, catchphrases and style.
In addition to adventures and battle scenes, the game has a lot of georgia number data dialogues. And the most important advantage is that the language is lively and juicy. These are not dry examples in textbooks, here you want to savor the language from all sides.
Several interesting dialogues and lines from the characters
Dialogues with characters are one of the important components of the gameplay. In total, the developers recorded and voiced several hundred hours of lines. The space for improving the skills of understanding and feeling the language is simply huge.
There is swearing in the game, but it is so organically incorporated into the narrative that it doesn't feel like something foreign. A special plus is that the vocabulary is very literary - not everyone can swear so elegantly.
The game has colloquial dialogues with the peasants and pompous dialogues with the king and aristocrats. The language is presented here from completely different angles. And that's cool.
"The Witcher" requires an English level of at least upper-intermediate. Even better – advanced. But with its help, you can significantly improve your spoken language and enrich it with a huge number of interesting phrases and word combinations.
