How to Add Music to Instagram Photo Carousels

Post by aminaas1575 »

In August, Instagram announced that users can now add music to photo slideshows in the main grid of their profile. In this post, we’ll explain why this is great for artists and show you how to do it. Here’s everything we know…

This new feature is a great addition for artists looking to showcase their music in a set of photos on their main feed instead of just Stories or Reels. If you have behind-the-scenes photos from your latest music video ready to post, you can add your music to amplify the vibe to your audience.

You don't have to limit yourself to your own indian mobile number music either. You can use this feature to show off your impeccable taste and add a little spice to an otherwise ordinary carousel.

On the other hand, let’s say you just released new music with another artist or band… Now, you can also collaborate with up to 3 people to promote your latest track. That means you and your collaborators can post those behind-the-scenes photos, add your song, and share it with three times as many people in one go.

Open Instagram and tap the + icon at the bottom of the screen.
Choose the photos you want to add to your carousel and tap Next .
When you get to the last page, tap Add Music .
Browse or use the search function to find the song you want.
Finally, tap Share in the top right corner when you're ready.
That's it! You'll see your song in your feed carousel.

Don't see your song? If you want your music to appear on Instagram, our partnership with Facebook (which covers Instagram and other services) makes it easy.
