Improvements planned for this blog this year

Post by Abdur12 »

It's time to make some improvements to this blog. It's been too long since I've given some love to the environment in which I've been publishing content for over a decade.

To be honest, I have to admit that I have neglected the blog a bit. There are several pending improvements that I have not yet tackled with any force. Many of them were already planned for 2020, but in the end everything has been delayed.

One of the small things that I have been able to improve is japan mobile phone number that now from time to time a person from my team comes by here and answers a comment, since I don't do it. Lately we have been slacking here too.

Here's what I have on my blog-related to-do list:

1 Possibility to subscribe
2 Cookies notice
2.1 New design
2.2 A basic SEO task
Possibility to subscribe
It's hard to believe that I haven't figured it out. Since the new data protection law came into effect, I told myself that I don't have time to implement it correctly and I deactivated the possibility of subscribing to the blog. Since then, I haven't sent any emails either. Right now I don't have anything to sell so why bother you? Many people have written to me and warned me. I'm aware of this and with a bit of luck I'm going to fix it.

Cookies notice
Something broke a couple of weeks ago. The cookie notice loads on every page. If it bothers me, I don't want to know how much it must bother a normal reader. Many of them get my feeds and luckily they don't have to go to the blog to notice.
