A tool for interaction with users

Post by Abdur14 »

Despite the deep automation of its system, ad review offers a high degree of interaction with the platform's users. In this way, anyone on Facebook can report an ad that they believe is inappropriate or that violates the community policies . To do so, they simply need to click on the three dots at the top left of the ad: it can then be evaluated and removed if necessary.

Similarly, users also have access to an ad library where they can review any ad published in the last 7 years and even report them, as you can see in this example, which shows summer-related ads.

This community engagement factor helps create feedback on which to improve automation processes and platform policies. As Facebook explains:

“Reviewing ads for millions of advertisers around the world cayman islands business email database against our Advertising Policies is essential, but it is not without its challenges. Our enforcement is not perfect, and both machines and people make mistakes. When we launch a new policy, it can take time for the different parts of our enforcement system – both automated technology and global teams – to learn how to correctly and consistently apply the new standard, but as we gather new data and feedback, our machine learning models and automated enforcement improve.

Feedback from our community of advertisers, global experts, and people who use our platform every day is an integral part of this effort and work. We will continue to work alongside them as we regularly evaluate our policies, improve our enforcement, and remain accountable for our progress over time.”
